We are looking for a
smart programmer to join our team of programmers.
You should be a quick learner and love to learn new
things. There is a lot for you to learn if you work
at MedFORCE and we hope there is a lot we can learn
from you, even if you are just starting. We have a
small agile team that spend most of their time
working independently but also spend a significant
amount of time working with each other and
supporting customers. You must be able to handle
pressure, as a growing company there is always new
challenges to deal with and sometimes you have to
switch gears quickly. You must be a good problem
solver; if you can troubleshoot problems and
intuitively tell difference between
a symptom and a root cause; if you can come up with
creative workarounds
to problems; if you are always thinking of every
angle then this is the position for you.

Job Functions /
Responsibilities:
- Participate in
software development activities as a member of
the development team.
- Work with
customer support and help isolate and resolve
issues faced by customer.
- Development and
maintain existing software code.
- Adheres to
coding standards defined by technical management
- Execute basic
SQL statements
- Other duties as
assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- Familiarity with
programming languages/concepts
- Familiarity with
software development lifecycle process
- Familiarity with
using flow charts and UML
- Understands
relational database concepts
- Understands
basic concepts of OOP
- Good
communication skills, should be able to clearly
articulate ideas and thoughts verbally
- Listens to
others and accepts inputs from team members
