MedFORCE Technologies Makes Available Standalone Electronic Remittance Notice
Solution For Non-MedFORCE SCAN Customers

Chestnut Ridge, NY – MedFORCE Technologies, Inc. announced today that it is making available a standalone Electronic Remittance Notice (ERN) solution for companies not currently using MedFORCE SCAN.

ERN files are available for download from Medicare, Medicaid, and a number of private carriers, and contain an electronic version of the data contained in a paper EOMB (Explanation of Medical Benefits). The package, called MedFORCE ERN, offers non-MedFORCE SCAN customers all the ERN auditing, reporting, and workflow benefits available with the company’s flagship product, now on version 4.3.

Some of MedFORCE ERN’s capabilities include:

• Import ERNs from all available payors;

• Print patient-specific EOMBs stored in each patient file;

• Create appeal / reconsideration coversheets;

• Print denial analysis detail and summary reports;

• Monitor, track and compare the effectiveness of employee work;

• And more.

“We’ve determined that for every million dollars in sales that a company earns, someone spends two to three hours per day copying EOMBs and tracking down denied claims,” explained Esther Apter, CEO of MedFORCE Technologies. “That translates to a cost of no less than $7,000 per year and does not even include bad debt write offs for claims that were missed!”

MedFORCE ERN is available for $2,500 for up to 10 concurrent users with an annual maintenance fee of $500. ERN customers will have the option to apply the purchase price toward an upgrade to MedFORCE SCAN at any time.
